This office handles jail and offender records, not Metro police reports or mugshots. Call 615-862-8123 if the custodian of a record is unclear.
Downtown Detention Center
The Downtown Detention Center, 200 James Robertson Parkway, Nashville, TN 37201, is DCSO’s first intake stop for Davidson County arrestees. Its telephone number is 615-862-8224. The intake address does not replace the Records Center for a specific records request.
MNPD Central Records and Booking-Photo Requests
MNPD Central Records handles police records at 811 Anderson Lane, Suite 100, Madison, TN 37115, telephone 615-862-7631. Counter hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Photo ID is required. Requests may be mailed or delivered by hand, but not faxed. For a mugshot, use MNPD Form 720; photo and mugshot requests go through Forensic Services at 400 Myatt Drive, Madison, TN 37115.
